KARACHI, Feb 2: The president of the All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS), Sarmad Ali, has expressed sorrow and grief over the death of Sirajul Haq Memon, a former chief editor of Hilal-i-Pakistan daily and distinguished intellectual of Sindh.

In a message, the APNS president said that Mr Memon’s contribution for the promotion of Sindhi journalism and culture would be remembered for a long time to come.

He offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the colleagues of Mr Memon on behalf of office-bearers and executive committee members of the APNS.
